Welcome to the Cove Motel, Chalets, Mariner Restaurant and Gift Shop, an idyllic location on a peninsula, jutting out into the Canso Strait overlooking Cape Breton Island one of Nova Scotia's most treasured destinations. The expansive facility offers a chance to stretch your legs after a long drive, a sandy walk along the beach, a relaxing swim in the ocean, or try your hand at canoeing and then complete your day by joining us in the Mariner Restaurant for a hearty meal in a most relaxing atmosphere where you can view the sunsets, discuss the days events and plan for tomorrow!

When entering the landscaped grounds of the Cove Motel your senses are alerted to an ambiance of discerning taste and classic elegance. You choose the accommodations, which suit your taste, whether it is chalets or motel. Each eludes its own character and charm reminiscent of the sea and the nautical past. The Cove has 30 units including 12 chalets.

The Cove has become known as the "Gateway" to Cape Breton and the famed Cabot Trail making our location convient as you travel to the Island and the many attractions it has to offer.
